Rachel Sarah

Rachel Sarah is one of the founding editors of the online magazine Literary Mama.com. Her regular column about single motherhood and dating, “Going it Alone,” published there bimonthly. The summer she turned 30, in 2003, she kept a daily blog about her dating life called “Sex and the Single Mom.” Since then, her dating forays have varied: Posting her profile on Match.com; agreeing to one-too-many blind dates; and dating men she has met at the grocery store, her landlord’s home, and the toddler section of her local playground. Currently, she is the dating and romance editor for J Magazine, San Francisco’s Jewish Weekly, and has written for Hip Mama, Parenting, Ms., Elle, and ePregnancy. She lives in Berkeley, CA, with her daughter.
