W. G. Scheller is the author or coauthor of more than 20 books, including Columbus and the Age of Discovery, the companion to the PBS television series; and Barons of Business: Their Lives and Lifestyles. He is an award-winning travel writer and the coeditor of the online travel journal naturaltraveler.com. He lives in northern Vermont.
